How to determine your home's temperature without a thermometer

Our house has no heat. It is cold in the winter. In late December/early January we were having below average temperatures during the day and at night. It was regularly 50 degrees inside when we woke up in the morning. But if you don't have a thermometer, you just need to observe your small mammal companions to get an idea of the temperature!

Here we have 62 degrees and up. Cozy on the bed, but with room to stretch out.

At 55-62 degrees, their furry bodies begin to attract.

The 55 degrees and under fur pile.
