We had a busy Easter Sunday. There are a lot of videos of egg hunting in this post! The girls woke up around 7:30 which seemed very early until we realized we had to fit their at home egg hunting, Easter baskets, and breakfast into an hour and fifteen minutes before we had to be out the door for the day.
They found their baskets right away and were pretty excited.
Then we took them to the front yard where the Easter bunny had left some eggs for them. I hesitate to say "hid" because the Easter bunny definitely did not have time for that ;)
Love those rainbow jammies, and how they helped each other find the eggs.
Our next stop was the sitter's community Easter egg hunt. The girls did this last year, too and had so much fun. They let the littlest kids out first and the back field is literally covered in eggs:
For some reason, though, the girls run here and there picking them up at random. Amaya was especially keen on getting the eggs off the ivy on the wall.
After the sitter's we went to church and then our normal Easter dinner with our friend's family. No photos of that, but please enjoy these!
When we got home and looked at the pictures, I showed Amaya how I tried to take about a dozen photos of the girls with Tomu and she was making faces in every one. She said, "Funny picture!" Guess that won't be changing any time soon!
Wow, I wish Tim had helped me like that in my early egg hunts!
