Winter nightgowns

What happens when the house starts getting down into the 50's at night and all your
nightgowns are for the summer?

You make some out of flannel!

I bought this great fabric before I had a nightgown pattern I wanted to use, so I only had enough for the nightshirt portion. As you can see above, those bare legs will get chilly, so I needed to make some pants. I had just enough flannel left for contrasting cuffs.

They turned out great!!

I used foldover elastic for a soft neck binding and tie, rather than bias tape.

The cuffs mean the pants can grow with the girls a bit.

They like them.

Two cozy girls, ready for the cold!
